The thing that I find annoying (besides what you posted), and what seems to be native to A2 people, is bragging about how little you drive and choosing to be unemployed rather than to drive to work. A2 people--and only A2 people (never Ypsi people, Saline people, Detroit people) are AGHAST that I drive over 1/2 hour to work. It seems that they would rather me walk to work, earn $8 per hour, default on the mortgage, become homeless, ironically end up living in my car, rinse, repeat. Or it seems that they are really fucking annoying and need to get the fuck out of the bubble of A2 and go to a place where people drive to work like in, oh, I don't know, 90% of the rest of the country!!!

Then again, it may also be blatant racism at work. I have a pal who drives to Manchester, and it takes him longer to get there than I take to get to Detroit. I asked him and he said that no one has ever fussed at him for driving "far" to work. Ditto someone I know who works in Jackson County. Whatever the case may be, it irritates the shit out of me--I love driving. You can't have my car!!!!!
