We didn't have a plague (or the bird flu pandemic...that's about all 2008 was missing). For me personally, 2008 was great. I almost feel guilty about that. In fact, I do feel guilty. But, except for my wedding, I had a crappy 2000 when everyone else apparently was making oodles of money, so maybe it's just karma balancing things out? Right!
